Release notes
What's new in YSUITS
Every change that reaches customers, in plain words, newest first. The current version is 1.17.1, released October 15, 2026.
v1.17.1 - YERP
Backups restore completely
- FixedRestoring from a backup now brings back every built-in setting, including the trial terms, so a recovery rehearsal completes reliably.
v1.17.0 - YERP
See your YERP version, and fixes across Yalie, budgets, invoices and reconciliation
- NewYERP shows its version beside your organization's name at the top of the page. Select it to see the release date, what changed and a link to the full release notes. A small dot appears there when a new version arrives that you have not looked at yet.
- NewEvery YERP page ends with a short footer naming the version and its release date, with links to What's new, Terms and Privacy.
- ImprovedYalie Search now finds pages as well as settings - try words like reconciliation, payroll, roles or password. When nothing matches, it says so and offers to ask Yalie instead.
- ImprovedThe Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links in YERP now open the YSUITS legal center, so there is one current version of each, and what you agree to is recorded against that version.
- ImprovedWhen opening an invoice, choose the payer from your people and the revenue account from your chart of accounts instead of typing reference numbers.
- FixedIn a bank reconciliation that is still a draft, an item entered with the wrong amount or sign can now be removed, so the difference can reach zero and the reconciliation can be submitted.
- FixedBudgets and the printed Budget vs Actual now name the person who adopted the budget instead of showing an account number.
- FixedAfter an update, an ordinary refresh now shows the new version; you no longer need a forced refresh.
v1.16.1 - YERP
A clearer first step for new administrators
- FixedAn administrator who has not yet chosen their work now sees a Get started prompt on every page, instead of only System Settings with no explanation.
- FixedThe System Settings tab is no longer shown twice when it is the only module you have.
v1.16.0 - YERP
Your core tools stay free after the trial
- NewAfter your 30-day trial, accounting, people, manual payroll, manual bank records and bank reconciliation keep working: you can still add and change those records, and everything stays viewable and exportable.
- ImprovedAdvanced features and AI pause when a trial ends. The notice on your Billing page and the banner now say exactly what is paused and what keeps working.
v1.15.0 - YERP
A 30-day trial of every feature for new organizations
- NewEvery new organization starts with a 30-day trial of all available features, including advanced tools and AI. No card is needed.
- NewA welcome page after you create an organization explains how the trial works and lets you choose the work you will do first.
- ImprovedYour Billing page shows exactly when your trial starts and ends.
- ImprovedChoosing the work you will do first never gives you extra permissions on its own; approvals and separation of duties still apply.
v1.14.5 - YERP
Yalie assistant button redesigned
- ImprovedThe Yalie button in the bottom-right corner now looks like what it is: a place to ask a question. Point at it (or tab to it) and it says "Ask Yalie"; the first time you see it, it says so on its own for a moment. Alt+Y still opens it.
- ImprovedYalie opens right out of its button, and on a phone it slides up as a full-width sheet. Pages leave room at the bottom so the button never sits on your last button, and it is left off printouts.
v1.14.4 - YERP
Clearer payroll notices and receipt highlights
- FixedIf a payroll run cannot include someone and you are not allowed to see people's names, YERP now shows that person's employment reference, so you can still tell whose record needs fixing.
- FixedOn receipt photos, YERP no longer draws a highlight over a line of text when the reading software reports a shape with no area. It also places highlights correctly when the receipt includes accented letters or symbols.
v1.14.3 - YERP
Year-end payroll forms count only adopted payrolls
- FixedThe W-2/W-3, 941 and 940 summaries and the payroll register now include only payroll runs a person has adopted. Before, a run that was computed but never adopted was added to the wages and taxes on those forms.
v1.14.2 - YERP
Payroll names everyone it could not pay
- FixedWhen a payroll run is computed and someone could not be included, for example because their pay basis was missing or unclear, YERP now keeps that person's name and the reason on screen before you open the run. Before, the run opened straight away and the person was simply missing from it.
- ImprovedEmployment records show each person's name.
- ImprovedThe pay amount form explains that payroll computes from an annual salary or an hourly rate.
v1.14.1 - YERP
Statements and thank-you letters count only settled gifts
- FixedGiving statements and gratitude letters now include only gifts in closed batches. A batch closes once what was entered matches what was counted. Gifts still in an open batch are left out, and the page tells you how many there are, their total, and which batch they are in; they appear as soon as the batch is closed.
v1.14.0 - YERP
GAAP readiness: schedules you can trace, conclusions someone approves
- NewCompliance has a GAAP readiness page. Prepare financial schedules in which every figure names the record it came from, and see each schedule's total.
- NewDraft accounting conclusions and disclosures. Someone other than the person who drafted one approves it and records the qualification they hold, such as CPA or finance committee chair. Once a conclusion based on a schedule is approved, that schedule is closed to changes.
- NewThree new permissions control this page: view, prepare and approve. Give them in System Settings under Roles.
v1.13.0 - YERP
YERP notices a new version of a record you already keep
- NewWhen you upload a document with the same classification and title as an official record you already keep, but different content, Filing Review tells you it may be a new version of that record. The decision opens as a new version of it, and you can still file it as a new record. Nothing is linked until you decide.
v1.12.1 - YERP
Record labels show the QR code
- FixedThe QR code on a record's label was missing, squeezed out by the barcode next to it. The barcode and the QR code now sit one above the other, and both print.
v1.12.0 - YERP
Record labels with QR codes, number corrections and a filing plan tree
- NewEvery official record now has a Label button on its own page. The label carries a barcode and a QR code that open the record in YERP, and you can print it on its own.
- NewA record filed under the wrong number can be corrected to a number you reserved in the same class, with a reason. The old number stays in the history and is never reused.
- ImprovedWhen you mark an upload as a duplicate, you choose the record and the version it repeats from a list instead of typing an identifier.
- ImprovedClassifications are shown as your filing plan's tree, each class under its parent.
v1.11.0 - YERP
Internal audit work you can record
- NewInternal audit risk assessments can now be prepared, reviewed and approved in YERP. Each step is done by a different person.
- NewOn an audit engagement you can add work programs and mark them performed, prepare workpapers, cite approved minutes, decisions and official records as evidence, and have someone else review them. A reviewed workpaper is corrected as a new version, so the reviewed one is kept.
- NewQuality assessments of the internal audit function can be recorded, with findings and improvement actions that have an owner and a due date.
- NewIn Electronic Records you can open the sealed manifest of a disposition decision, an approved bulk import or an export. It shows exactly what was sealed, its fingerprint, whether it still matches, and for an export what was left out and why.
- ImprovedInternal audit pages show people by name.
v1.10.3 - YERP
Pledge cards and board access
- ImprovedThe Finance Committee Reader role now includes the board's consecration pledge reports, where households appear under pseudonyms, and the pledge totals. Names and cards stay private.
- FixedA commitment card typed with no amount no longer records 'a week' as if the card said so. Correcting a card shows the frequency that was actually saved.
- ImprovedWhen you record a pledge by its payment amount, YERP now explains that the total counts the payments between your dates (some years have 53 Sundays), while consecration reports use a yearly figure (weekly x 52).
v1.10.2 - YERP
Fewer false duplicate warnings on uploaded receipts
- FixedWhen you upload several receipts or invoices that were scanned or saved as clean images, YERP no longer warns that different documents look like the same picture. A receipt you upload twice is still caught by its amount, date and store.
v1.10.1 - YERP
Adults can be listed in the member directory
- FixedOn a person's page you can now record whether they are an adult or a minor (under Directory, Birth date and anniversary). Until someone is recorded as an adult they are kept out of the member directory and their contact details stay private, and before this fix there was no way to record it for people you added by hand.
v1.10.0 - YERP
Consecration pledge reports
- NewConsecration cards: type each commitment card the way the giver wrote it - a week, a month or a year, a joint card for a couple, an amount left blank or a written zero - and correct it later without losing what the card first said.
- NewCompare this year's cards with last year's commitments household by household, and set each pledge beside what the household has actually given so far, with its pace through the year.
- NewGiving Steps: see how many households pledge and give in each weekly giving band. Your church can adjust the bands.
- NewEvery report comes in three versions: with names for the finance team, anonymized for the board, and totals only for the congregation. Download any of them as a spreadsheet, PDF or Word document.
v1.9.2 - YERP
Security updates
- FixedSecurity updates to how YERP reads receipt photos and handles signed and encrypted data. The check that spots the same receipt photographed twice keeps working as before.
v1.9.1 - YERP
Releasing announcements works
- FixedReleasing an announcement version, and making an event's details public, now work. Before, the confirmation could not be signed, and a release stopped after you confirmed it.
v1.9.0 - YERP
Dot drafts minutes, resolutions and announcements
- NewLet Dot draft: beside meeting minutes, a resolution's text, an announcement and the E-Suite home, Dot writes a first draft from the meeting, decision and follow-up records you are allowed to see. It only fills the box - nothing is saved, approved or sent until you do it - and each draft lists the records it used. Closed-session records are never used, and your records are not sent to any outside AI service. An AI administrator turns it on by adding the drafting skills to an assistant under System Settings, AI.
- NewEmbeds: show your released public announcements or public calendar in a read-only frame that runs no scripts, and take it down at any time. For now an embed can be placed only on YSUITS's own sites.
v1.8.0 - YERP
Roles for compliance and internal audit
- NewReady-made roles for compliance and internal audit: Compliance Coordinator, Compliance Reviewer, Evidence Owner, Internal Auditor, Audit Committee and Audit Finding Respondent. Each keeps the person who checks apart from the person who did the work.
- ImprovedAn official record now shows its owner by name, its class, and links to the records it is related to.
- FixedDates filled in for you (a control's start date, when a fix was completed, a follow-up) are today's date where you are, not tomorrow's in the evening.
- FixedAudit plans ask how the plan follows from risk before you can save them, and an auditor who has nothing to disclose is no longer shown as awaiting a decision.
- FixedOn a phone, labels at the top of compliance and audit cards no longer run off the edge.
v1.7.0 - YERP
Compliance, internal audit and records you can work in
- NewFile a document in Electronic Records as an official record: it gets its record number and keeps every version.
- NewCompliance controls: describe what your church does (for example, two people count every offering), link it to the COSO internal control principles, record each period's check with the minutes or records that show it, and have a second person review it.
- NewCompliance exceptions: when a control was missed, record it, plan the fix with a person and a due date, record when it was done, and have someone else confirm it.
- NewAuditor requests: give each request to a member by name; they answer by pointing to your filed records or approved minutes, decisions and policies, and someone else accepts the answer or asks for more.
- NewInternal audit: list the areas you could audit, draft an audit plan and approve it against your council's recorded decision, open audits, record findings and management's response, follow up, and record each auditor's independence disclosures.
- ImprovedEvidence packages now show what is missing, their fingerprint and when their data was taken; issued packages download as a ZIP, and a correction replaces an issued package instead of changing it.
- FixedThe Compliance, Internal Audit and Federal Awards home pages open again.
- FixedAn evidence package profile no longer disappears from the page after you create it.
- FixedWhen something is refused, the page now says why instead of showing an error code.
v1.6.2 - YERP
Announcement versions
- FixedWhen you save a new version of an announcement or web page, the earlier version is now marked as replaced, and you can keep saving further versions.
v1.6.1 - YERP
Inviting a board to its meeting
- FixedInvite the seated members of a board or committee to its meeting in one step: the button now appears for every meeting scheduled for a registered governing body.
- FixedMeetings scheduled from a recurring pattern are now marked as scheduled in the proposal list, so the same date cannot be scheduled twice by mistake.
v1.6.0 - YERP
Meetings, minutes and announcements, start to finish
- NewFollow a meeting from agenda to permanent record on one page: who attended, what was decided on which agenda item, the action items that came from it, and whether the approved minutes have been filed.
- NewAttach supporting files (PDF, photos, Word, CSV) to agenda items, decisions, minutes, follow-ups, policies, requests, resolutions and letters. A file can only be opened by people who can see the record it belongs to, and every file is checked for viruses first.
- NewSend approved minutes to Electronic Records with one click; a records clerk files them as the permanent record.
- NewWrite announcements, news and web pages once and prepare them for staff, members, the website or the calendar, with a live preview and a full version history. Nothing is published or e-mailed from here.
- ImprovedE-Suite Home now lists what is waiting for you, what is late and what is coming up. The daily brief names each meeting, action item and request, and the calendar is grouped by day and points out double bookings.
- ImprovedSeat people from your directory on boards and committees, invite a board to its meeting in one step, schedule meetings straight from a recurring pattern, and build agenda templates with several items.
- ImprovedPages show who prepared, approved and published each item, and when something cannot be saved they say why.
- FixedThe Remote attendance button never worked and has been removed.
v1.5.1 - YERP
Uploaded receipts are read the same way as photos
- ImprovedReceipts uploaded together in a batch are now read the same way as a single receipt photo: YERP proposes the store, date, total and tax and shows how sure it is of each. Nothing is recorded until someone checks and confirms.
- ImprovedWhen you check a receipt, YERP outlines the exact line each detail was read from, such as the TOTAL line rather than a card-payment line that shows the same amount.
v1.5.0 - YERP
YERP tells you what it read
- NewWhen a receipt is photographed in EZ Mode, YERP reads the store, date, total and tax and proposes them to the person who reviews expenses, showing how sure it is of each. Nothing is recorded until a reviewer checks and confirms.
- ImprovedReceipt dates are recognized in more formats, such as Oct 12, 2026 and 10/12/26.
- ImprovedIf a receipt has no line labelled Total, YERP suggests the largest amount and marks it as less certain.
v1.4.0 - YERP
Receipt photos are read automatically
- NewTake a photo of a receipt in EZ Mode and its text is read for you, ready for review — no typing.
- ImprovedEZ Mode confirms when a photo has been received and taken over.
v1.3.1 - YERP
Founders land on the right page
- FixedA newly founded organization no longer sees a “needs a permission” notice on its first page.
- FixedThe sign-in page waits for YSUITS ID instead of briefly showing an old password form.
v1.3.0 - YERP
A church can run its books from day one
- NewFounders can grant every duty their organization needs, including accounting and membership, with a clear confirmation.
- NewChurch duty templates: Accounting Setup, Giving Recorder, Giving Batch Closer, Membership Secretary.
- NewContributions can name the giver; batches close; giving funds are created in Accounting Setup.
- NewPayment requests and two-person bank reconciliation (prepare, review, or an audited single-person approval for small teams).
- ImprovedSetting up an organization in YERP has a guided first page with country list and links to the terms.
- ImprovedBilling opens with a “Getting started” checklist; invitations explain each field.
- ImprovedReceipt capture now says plainly when automatic recognition is not enabled.
- FixedSigning out of YERP tells you that your YSUITS ID is still signed in.
v1.2.0 - YSUITS
- YERP
One sign-in for every product
- NewYERP is reached through YSUITS ID: one account, one sign-in, every product you hold.
- ImprovedTerms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund policy each show their version and the date they took effect.
v1.1.0 - YSUITS ID
- YSUITS
YSUITS ID
- NewCreate a YSUITS ID as a person or an organization, confirm your e-mail, and choose the product to open.
- NewSign in with a password, a one-time e-mail code, or a passkey; add a passkey from your inbox.
- NewPhone number can be added and verified as contact information.
- ImprovedOne brand treatment across the suite: the product ring, frosted panels, and 2D tab icons.
- ImprovedPricing lists modules sold on their own, straight from the YERP catalog.
v1.0.0 - YSUITS
ysuits.com is live
- NewThe YSUITS website: products, pricing, about and contact, on a verified static host.
How we number versions: major.minor.patch. The first number changes only for a redesign that changes how you work; the middle number when something new can be done; the last number for fixes and wording.
