Cookies and Similar Browser Storage

Scope

This notice covers browser storage used by the current ysuits.com website and shared YSUITS ID account surface. A separately operated product or external service may have its own technology and notice.

Current public website

The public website loads its website scripts from its own origin and does not deploy advertising or third-party analytics scripts. It can use sessionStorage under the key ysuits-dismissed-announcements to remember announcement identifiers dismissed in the current tab. Clearing that browser storage can make an announcement appear again.

The currently closed contact and waitlist forms do not save typed form values in cookies, local storage, or session storage through their form controls.

Account sessions

When a YSUITS ID sign-in session is created, the first-party __Host-ysid cookie supports the requested session. It is a necessary authentication cookie, rather than an advertising cookie. Administrative sign-in has a separate necessary cookie. Session validity also depends on the service's server-side session rules; the cookie itself is not the complete record.

Blocking or clearing necessary storage can prevent a session from remaining signed in. Signing out, clearing storage, or closing a browser does not delete the saved account, acknowledgements, correspondence, or audit history.

Choices and signals

Use browser settings to inspect, block, or clear cookies and session storage. The current public website uses no optional advertising or third-party analytics scripts. If optional tracking is added, we provide its purpose and the notice and choices required by applicable law before use.

Older Do Not Track signals do not disable necessary authentication, security, or first-party site functions. Global Privacy Control concerns specified sale, sharing, or advertising choices, rather than account deletion.
